Directions: Rinse well in cold running water. KENT Marine Reef Carbon is very active and only requires about ¼ lb (1 cup) per 100 gallons of aquarium water. More can be safely used depending on the amount of organics in the system. Place in a fine mesh bag or filter chamber directly in water flow. Make sure water flows through the material and not just around it. For best results, replace carbon monthly in freshwater aquariums and use intermittently in marine aquariums.
