DESCRIPTION Biomox Oral Suspension uses Amoxicillin to treat bacterial dermatitis and soft tissue infections (such as abscesses, wounds, and lacerations). It helps treat a variety of bacterial infections, including urinary tract and skin infections. It is intended to be combined with water prior to use.

How is Medication Given?
Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product. Combine with water before use. Dosing recommendations are 5 mg per pound of body weight administered twice each day for a 5- to 7-day period. Treatment should be continued for 48 hours after the resolution of all symptoms. If the animal does not show signs of improvement after 5 days of treatment, therapy and diagnosis should be re-evaluated. To mix, combine 11 mL of water to 15 mL bottle or 21 mL of water to 30 mL water, shaking vigorously to combine. 1 mL of reconstituted suspension contains 50 mg Amoxicillin (Trihydrate). Unused reconstituted suspension should be discarded after 2 weeks (14 days), whether stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Keep bottle tightly shut. Shake thoroughly prior to use.

Possible Side Effects: If your pet has signs of a severe reaction, pursue emergency treatment. Such signs include:
Severe diarrhea Bloody diarrhea Allergic reaction (shortness of breath, hives, swollen lips, swollen tongue, swollen face, rash, or fainting) Seizures Abnormal bleeding Bruising
If your pet is experiencing an allergic reaction, an antidote of Epinephrine or steroids is needed. Non-severe reactions may include:
Nausea Vomiting Diarrhea Abdominal pain Yeast infection Fungal infections
If you observe signs of a non-severe reaction, consult your veterinarian.
Precautions:
Keep away from children and animals. Only administer to dogs. Never use in a pregnant or breeding animal. Never administer to an animal with a known Penicillin allergy.
Storage Recommendations: Keep product temperature below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F).
