Dose and Administration: Sold in a vial containing 100 mL.
Possible Side Effects: Do not administer to a vomiting animal who is experiencing chloride loss, or to an animal taking any diuretic which produces hypochloremic acidosis.
Precautions: As metabolic acidosis is corrected, increases can unintentionally occur in plasma sodium concentrations. This occurs because sodium bicarbonate is hypertonic.
Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool, dry place between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C).
