DESCRIPTION Amoxi-Mast is an intramammary infusion antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity. Containing Amoxicillin, this medication kills bacteria more rapidly than most alternatives. The new tube design (with a short tip) allows for easy administration.

How is Medication Given?
12 swabs are included for teat orifice disinfection and cleaning. For proper response, administer through intramammary infusion in every infected quarter. Treat again every 12 hours until 3 doses have been delivered. Following final dose administration, milk out the treated quarter and discard the milk. To administer, milk the udder out fully. Use warm water and a dairy antiseptic to thoroughly cleanse the teats and udders, then thoroughly dry. Use provided alcohol swabs to disinfect and clean the teat. Remove the cover from the tip of the syringe, then insert into teat orifice. Use continuous and gentle pressure to express solution into quarter. Withdraw syringe, grasping firmly at the teat end. Massage medication into milk cistern.

What Form Does Medication Come In? Syringes
Dose and Administration: Sold as a 12-count box of syringes (10 mL each). Also includes 12 alcohol swabs.
Possible Side Effects: Rare allergic reactions have been reported, which should be treated with antihistamines and/or pressor amines.
Precautions:
Wait 60 hours or 5 milkings following the final treatment to use milk from a treated cow for food. Wait 12 days following the final treatment to slaughter a treated cow for human consumption.
Storage Recommendations: Do not store above 24 degrees C (75 degrees F)
