Each syringe fits onto the bottle and has marked increments for dosing accuracy (1-pound increments on the small syringe and 5-pound increments on the large syringe). A daily maintenance dosage rate of 0.045 mg per pound of body weight is delivered by either syringe. For the small syringe, the dose should be rounded down to the nearest pound. For the large syringe, it should be rounded down to the nearest 5-pound increment. After use, replace the cap and tighten. 2 dosing syringes are included with this product - one for dogs under 30 pounds, and the other for dogs 30 pounds and up. Only the included syringes should be used to dose this product. Do not use the container as a dropper bottle for Loxicam administration. Read the product information sheet thoroughly before use. Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product. Risks and benefits should be weighed before starting treatment. The lowest possible dose should be administered for the shortest possible duration to achieve the desired response.
