Administer the complete course of the medication as prescribed, even if your pet's condition has improved. Failure to administer the entire course of treatment may cause recurrence or worsening of the infection. Missed Doses: Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give two doses at once. Side Effects: This medication is generally well tolerated. Common side effects may include stomach upset, vomiting, and diarrhea. These symptoms may improve or subside during the course of treatment. If these symptoms continue, contact your veterinarian.
