At least 1 hour before and 2 hours after feeding, administer Cyclavance™ oral solution directly into your dogâs mouth following the step by step instructions. Package includes a adaptor cap and oral dosing syringe with complete instructions on how to assemble the system and dose the medication.Wear gloves when administering and wash hands after handling. Once opened, use contents within 12 weeks. Missed Doses: Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once. Side Effects: Side effects may include loss of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea. Your pet may also experience liver and kidney problems. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian. Drug & Food Interactions: The following drugs can potentially interact with cyclosporine: acetazolamide, allopurinol, amlodipine, antibiotics, carvedilol, cimetidine, ciprofloxacin enrofloxacin, corticosteroids, digoxin, erythromycin, gentamicin, ketoconazole, methotrexate, metoclopramide, metronidazole, omeprazole, phenobarbital, and phenytoin. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication or supplements you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and or monitor your pet more closely. Cautions: Cyclavance™ is not for use in breeding , pregnant or lactating dogs. Do not use Cyclavance™ if your pet has a history of cancer. Use with caution in dogs with diabetes mellitus and renal insufficiency. Allergic reactions to medications may occur.
