DESCRIPTION: Mometavet Otic Suspension combines Clotrimazole, Mometasone, and Gentamicin. Mometavet Otic Suspension works to treat bacterial ear infections and inflammation. What Form Does Medication Come In? Liquid Dose and Administration: Sold in a dropper bottle containing 7.5, 15, 30, or 215 grams. Possible Side Effects: Certain sensitive dogs, particularly those who are geriatric, may experience partial hearing loss or deafness as a result of treatment with this product. This is typically transient. If you observe these issues in your pet during treatment, withdraw use and flush the ear canals thoroughly using non-toxic otic solution. Precautions: If you observe hypersensitivity, withdraw use and pursue immediate treatment. Do not use ototoxicity-inducing drugs concomitantly. Do not use in an ear with a perforated eardrum.
