DESCRIPTION Biomox Oral Suspension uses Amoxicillin to treat bacterial dermatitis and soft tissue infections (such as abscesses, wounds, and lacerations). It helps treat a variety of bacterial infections, including urinary tract and skin infections. It is intended to be combined with water prior to use. Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product. Combine with water before use. Dosing recommendations are 5 mg per pound of body weight administered twice each day for a 5- to 7-day period. Treatment should be continued for 48 hours after the resolution of all symptoms. If the animal does not show signs of improvement after 5 days of treatment, therapy and diagnosis should be re-evaluated. To mix, combine 11 mL of water to 15 mL bottle or 21 mL of water to 30 mL water, shaking vigorously to combine. 1 mL of reconstituted suspension contains 50 mg Amoxicillin (Trihydrate). Unused reconstituted suspension should be discarded after 2 weeks (14 days), whether stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Keep bottle tightly shut. Shake thoroughly prior to use.
